I am 29 years old and have been working with children for almost 13 years. I was born in Miami, Florida and have lived there all my life. I am attending Nova University to receive my degree in psychology and a minor in Education.

  Since I was young, I really love to travel and discover new things. I am also an art lover. I love music as well as singing. I came to China because I want to learn Chinese culture and tradition. I had been a teacher in a college for two years. Prior to that, I have taught for almost three years in my country.
  Presently, love to do a short movie in China. I am looking forward to that goal.

  I’m just like the fat budda. I enjoy making people laugh and like to lend help to anyone that needs it. I enjoy being around friends and family. I coach sports to help young people exceed in what they do. I want to pass on my thoughts on life to as many people as I can to help make our world a better, happier place for all of us.

  My name is David Francis Rovososa. I was born in Miami Beach, FL on October 3, 1980. Both my parents were born in Cuba and migrated to the US in the 60s – 70s. I have an older brother and younger sister, also an oldest half sister. I have attended both public and private (Catholic) educational institutions. I received my degree from Florida International University in Business Administration (4 years). However, I am no a full-time teacher for Mater Lakes Academy (6-12) for the last three years. I am also the athletic director for the school. On my off-time from work, I enjoy staying fit, playing my bad habit of Poker (gambling) and the Miami nightlife. Any chance I get I will attend sporting events, concerts and festivals or museums! I am very happy to be here in China because it fulfills one of my greatest passions travelings.

  After teaching History and Latin for many years at universities in Canada, I switched careers. I returned to university to earn a second M.A. I went to Greenland to teach English. I lived for a year in a small settlement, on the Arctic Island.
  Then I came to China, where I have been teaching at Pei Zheng College in Guangdong Province for the past years.
  This is my first time teaching at a summer school in China. It is lovely to be at this clean, modern high school where we have been so warmly welcomed.

  I look forward to teaching you English, and also learning from you. In California, I work as a teacher in a School District, and I also go to college to become a nurse. I hope to travel places where there are no doctors to help people through medicine.

  This is my 9th time to China and My 8th in a summer program. My first trip , in 1969, was to Taipei. Since 2000, I’ve spent a month each in Taiyuan, Beijing(3 times), Haimen,Shanghai,Yinchuan,, and now in Yangzhou.
  I retired in 2000, after 30 years in the pentagon in Washington, DC. Now I’m an everyday substitute teacher in Maryland.
